Florida State has offered Lithonia (Ga.) Miller Grove four-star strong-side defensive end Caleb Tannor. The FSU staff checked in on him on Monday and extended the offer on Tuesday.
Tannor, a former Georgia commitment, has recently taken official visits to Nebraska and Florida.
FSU is among several schools trying to get him in for a visit over the final two weeks of the recruiting cycle. Auburn is the odds-on favorite to host him this upcoming weekend, and the Seminoles, along with Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Tennessee and others, are hoping to get him in on the weekend of Feb. 2nd.
The 247Sports.com Crystal Ball currently favors Auburn.
Tannor isn’t expected to decide until on or near National Signing Day.
